The China-Ghana State-owned Enterprise Reform and supervision Experience Exchange meeting was held in the Beijing Teaching and Research Center of the College

    On September 20th, the China-Ghana Experience Exchange Conference on State-owned Enterprises was held in Beijing Teaching and Research Center of the College. Director of State Assets Administration of Ghana, former Ambassador to China Boateng, and current Ambassador of Ghana to China Hadmon attended the exchange meeting. Xie Hui, deputy Director of International Cooperation Bureau of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council attended the exchange meeting and delivered a welcome speech. Zhang Zhiguang, vice president of the College, made a concluding speech.

 

 Xie Hui welcomed the arrival of Boateng and his delegation, and thanked the State Assets Administration and other government departments of Ghana, the Ghana Embassy in China and state-owned enterprises in Ghana for their long-term support and helping Chinese state-owned enterprises to carry out economic and trade cooperation in Ghana. He said that SOEs play an important role in the economic and social development of both China and Canada, and the strengthened exchange of experience in the supervision of state-owned assets and its governance will surely provide useful lessons for each other and effectively promote the high-quality and sustainable development of SOEs on both sides.


 Boateng thanked the SASAC of the State Council and the Academy for their careful arrangements. He introduced in detail the main responsibilities of the Administration, business development and the development of state-owned enterprises in Ghana. We hope to learn from China's experience in state assets supervision and soE reform and promote mutually beneficial cooperation between soes of the two countries.

 Zhang Zhiguang welcomed Boateng and his delegation's visit to the Beijing Teaching and Research Center of the College and congratulated on the success of the exchange meeting. He said, the two sides around the assets supervision and state-owned enterprise reform conducted in-depth exchanges, the exchange of views in the sharing and communication, harvest fruitful results, hope that the future with Ghana will continue to strengthen communication, mutual learning, promote the cooperation between state-owned enterprises and high quality development, achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

 

 The two sides will focus on in-depth exchanges on the reform and development process, supervision and management, strategic planning, performance assessment, green development, risk prevention and other aspects. The meeting invited relevant leaders of SASAC Regulation Bureau, Planning Bureau, Financial Management and Operation Bureau, Assessment and Distribution Bureau and Social Responsibility Bureau to visit the meeting site for explanation and exchange.Senior executives of Ghana State Administration of Assets Administration and relevant state-owned enterprises, International Cooperation Bureau of State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, China Communications Construction Group and relevant comrades of the college attended the meeting.
