The launch ceremony of the International Platform of Online Training Academy for State-owned Enterprises (hereinafter referred to as "the international platform") kicked off in China Business Executives Academy, Dalian on August 1st, 2022. Qiu Baolin, Party Secretary and Standing Vice President of the Academy and Meng Huaqiang, Deputy Director of Bureau of International Cooperation, SASAC, attended the ceremony and launched the platform together.

The international platform is a key initiative of the Academy to implement the requirements of SASAC. Aiming at providing more convenient, accurate and safer training courses to international talents and overseas employees of SOEs, the international platform facilitates the safety and development of SOEs and propels the "Belt and Road Initiative".

    By now, there are more than 400 courses launched on the international platform, with topics covering security risk prevention, international operation, leadership, strategic management, etc. Users can switch between standard and simple mode on PC or access to the platform via a mobile application.  For maximized resource sharing, the international platform has a new function-"Enterprise Cloud", which enables companies to connect their internal training with the online courses of the Academy, hence supporting the overseas training of enterprises. Since the trial run of the international platform on June 20, there have been more than 40,000 users from 73 SOEs groups and subsidiaries covering more than 120 countries enrolled and learning on the platform. The overall trial run is proved to be stable and efficient.

Leaders from China Foreign Languages Publishing Administration and Policy Planning Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as 47 participants of the "Special Training Courses on Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy" joined the ceremony. Zhang Zhiguang, Vice President of the Academy, hosted the event.

The building of the international platform is a positive exploration of the Academy to constantly improve international schooling, reinvent its international legacy and accelerate the digital transformation of cadre education. Making the launch of the international platform an opportunity, and always bearing the "Top Priorities of the Country" in mind, the Academy is going to continuously develop globally, build a comprehensive training system for SOEs' overseas employees, and  with international vision and mindset, serve the Chinese companies to score world-class achievements.
