Benchmarking World-class Training Series | CBEAD Successfully Held Special program on German "Hidden Champions" & International Competitiveness

From October 24 to October 28, the special seminar on improving the core competitiveness was successfully held in the Dalian headquarters of the college and the Beijing Teaching and Research Center. Forty-one middle and senior managers from central enterprises and local state-owned backbone enterprises attended this seminar.

This seminar fully highlights the international education elements of the college, introduces the "invisible champion" series courses of German ESMT (European School of Management and Technology), and gives an in-depth introduction to the invisible champion enterprises from the aspects of definition, strategy, product, globalization and so on. At the same time, the senior executives of German Siemens and German Express Express Group were invited to have a real-time online dialogue with the students, and visited the German "invisible champion" enterprise Wilo through the live broadcast. During the training, Guan Tongxian, the former general manager of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry (Group), was also specially invited to make outstanding contributions to the reform and opening up of state-owned enterprises, to share the enterprise practice and exchange with all the students the ways of enterprise innovation and development. In addition, the seminar arranged two core teachers of the college to serve as special tutors to guide the whole process, to help the students to understand and absorb what they have learned, and to discuss and answer the difficult and pain points encountered by the students in the enterprise operation.

This training is also an innovation of the college to explore the shift operation mode. It is the first time to try the "double ground and double line" class holding mode, to realize the online and offline and real-time synchronous learning of students from Dalian and Beijing. The students spoke highly of the training organization and the teaching effect, and agreed that the distinctive teaching design features, the rich and accurate course content, and the warm and in-depth interactive communication are a high-quality learning to increase their knowledge, broaden their horizons and enhance their skills. They all expressed that they should transform the application of the theoretical knowledge learned into practice, further enhance their sense of responsibility and mission, and make efforts to cultivate specialized and special new "little giant" enterprises and individual champion enterprises.
