CBEAD held the awarding ceremony of the International Distinguished Professor on the afternoon of October 23rd, 2021. Zhang Zhiguang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the Academy, attended and awarded Lin Chuxue as International Distinguished Professor.

     In his speech at the appointment ceremony, Zhang Zhiguang pointed out that the appointment of international distinguished professors is a milestone for the Academy to implement the foundation of "building a strong teaching staff" put forward by Secretary Hao Peng, and to accelerate the realization of the goal of "leading the training of state-owned enterprises and catching up with the world-class". Adhering to the principle of " giving full scope to the talents", I hope that the Professors can help us promote the construction of innovation base for introducing talents, actively carry out internationalized teaching, training design and research, make suggestions for the internationalization construction of the Academy, and realize the greater development in the new period.

    Lin Chuxue said that his visit to the Academy has further enhanced his understanding of the planning and international development direction of the Academy, and will actively perform his duties as an international distinguished professor, deeply participate in the teaching and research of the Academy, and provide intellectual support for the international development. During his stay, Lin gave lectures to the third training course on improving the management ability of leaders of central enterprises. He also conducted a special seminar on the new pattern of global business environment, and had in-depth discussion with comrades of the training department, providing useful suggestions for training cooperation and resource construction of the Academy.

     Lin Chuxue worked as deputy party secretary and deputy general manager of China Three Gorges Corporation, now the president of the Party School and the Three Gorges Group University of the Three Gorges Group. He has been engaged in investment evaluation, financial capital, informationization, environmental protection, international cooperation, and exchange for a long time. He has rich business experience in capital market, corporate governance, risk management and international mergers and acquisitions, and is familiar with enterprise management, hydropower industry and clean energy.
