On December 16, CBEAD held the international forum of ‘path of transformation and development of energy and carbon neutralization’. Yang Ya, international distinguished professor of CBEAD and full-time external director of central SOEs, and Tao Guangyuan, executive director of Sino German renewable energy cooperation center and chief representative of German Energy Agency, attended the forum and delivered keynote speeches. Participants from three training program on-campus and directors from relevant departments of CBEAD attended the forum.

At the forum, Yang Ya delivered a keynote speech on the topic of ‘The Change of Energy’, focusing on the evolution of energy market, the pressure of carbon emission reduction and the future change of energy market. Tao Guangyuan delivered a keynote speech on the topic of "The Practice of Energy Transformation in Germany and Its Enlightenment to China", and carried out a detailed interpretation of the objectives and evaluation indicators of energy transformation, smart energy, and the smart field of carbon neutrality.

The founding purpose of the series international seminars of CBEAD is to broaden international perspective and help promote the high quality development of the ‘Belt and Road’ Initiative. The seminars aim to create a exchanging platform for the training and cooperation of first-class Chinese entrepreneurs and are dedicated to providing a reference for the internationalization for central SOEs.
