CBEAD successfully held a special online program on German "Hidden Champions" and International Competitiveness from October 25 to 28. In corporation with ESMT Berlin(The European School of Management and Technology), the program aims to help state-owned enterprises to gain the experience of German hidden champion firms and cultivate technologically advanced “little giant” enterprises as well as enterprises leading an individual field of manufacturing industry. Tutored by Liu Hong, deputy director of the Globalization Think Tank of the Academy, the program invites Trump and Wilo, CEOs of two well-known German hidden champion enterprises, and Guan Tongxian, former general manager of Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Company Limited (ZPMC), to share their experiences. 31 participants from central manufacturers and key local state-owned enterprises attended this program.
The program gives an in-depth explanation from what is German hidden champion enterprises to how to determine an appropriate strategy, launch innovative products, establish a global competitive strategy, and lead a high-performance team. Participants also interacts with Trump and Wilo on some key issues.
This program fully embodies the internationalization of the courses and receives praise from all the trainees in terms of teaching design, course content and interactive communication. It innovates the mode of international projects, and promotes the in-depth development of international projects.
