On March 9, 2022, China Business Executives Academy, Dalian(CBEAD) held the 2022 commencement ceremony. Hao Peng, President of CBEAD, Secretary of the CPC Committee of SASAC and Director of SASAC sent his message of hope to the new academic year.

    President Hao Peng emphasized that, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core attached great importance to officials education and training. General Secretary Xi Jinping has pointed out that the education and training of officials is a pilot, basic and strategic project for the construction of the cadre ranks. Not long ago, General Secretary Xi Jinping addressed the opening ceremony of 2022 spring semester of young and middle-aged officials training program at the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Academy of Governance), emphasizing that young officials should refine their political character of loyalty to the Party, work hard and dedicate themselves to the cause of the Party and the people, and leave a footprint of regretless struggle in the new journey of the new era. General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions further pointed out the direction and provided the fundamental guidance for the education and training and the growth of officials. Cultivating a constant stream of high-caliber officials who are loyal, honest and upright with both moral integrity and professional competence, and nourishing outstanding talents with patriotism, dedication and innovation,  which are not only the inevitable requirements for the development of the cause of the Party and the people from generation to generation, but also the strategic measures for strengthening, improving and enlarging state-owned capital and state-owned enterprises, and accelerating the construction of world class enterprises.

    President Hao Peng fully affirmed the achievements made by the academy in the past year in terms of direction, orientation, characteristics and quality in school running by fully implementing the philosophy of the Party Committee of SASAC, carefully laying out the training system, continuously enriching educational resources and actively creating brand features. In the new academic year, it is hoped that CBEAD will take Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the primary task and central content of education and training, adhere to strict governance, strict teaching and strict learning, focus on building a strong faculty, improve the quality of school running, foster excellent learning style, vigorously enhance the systematicness, pertinence, applicability and effectiveness of education and training, and continuously improve the core capacity of the academy to better support and promote the high-quality development of state-owned enterprises and state-owned assets. It is hoped that all trainees remember the requirements of loyal to the Party, dare to innovate, manage enterprises in a good and prosperous way, honest and upright, insist on morality first, deeply understand the decisive significance of the Two Establishment (establishment of both Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and the guiding role of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era), firmly work on the Two Upholds (uphold Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and uphold the Central Committee’s authority and its centralized, unified leadership), consolidate ideal and faith, enhance Party consciousness, adhere to study as the key, deeply study and implement the important spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's discourse on the reform and development of state-owned enterprises and Party building, comprehensively improve theoretical literacy, and develop excellent skills, adhere to work as the basis, establish and practice the sound attitude towards performance, carry forward the spirit of commitment and struggle, endeavor to do solid work and conduct innovative practices, strive to become talents who can take on heavy responsibilities.

    Qiu Baolin, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the academy, expressed a warm welcome to the trainees on behalf of the academy and thanked the core faculty for their long-term support. He emphasized that the academy should thoroughly implement the important remarks of General Secretary Xi Jinping on officials education and training, fully implement the philosophy of the SASAC Party Committee in running the academy, follow the general requirements of the Three Efforts and the Three Strict and Three For from the new academic year message of President Hao Peng, emancipate the mind and work hard to pursue innovation and actual results. Adhere to the Two Establishments, adhere to hardworking, adhere to the comprehensive benchmarking, forge academic soul, enhance the core capabilities. Continuously build a national officials education and training institution with Chinese characteristics, state-owned enterprises traits, and become a melting pot to stimulate entrepreneurial spirit and forge values to serve the high-quality development of state-owned enterprises and state-owned assets in the new era. All trainees should study hard to be loyal to the Party by improving their political ability, to be brave to innovate by enhancing the enterprising spirit, to be good at governing enterprises by upgrading the operation capacity, to promote a prosperous enterprise by taking responsibilities, and to be honest and upright by cultivating incorruptness. Strive to become a highly qualified and professional official with both virtue and talent in the new era.

    Vice President Zhang Zhiguang presided over the ceremony, Vice President Wang Dagang read out the president’s message for the new academic year, and He Jianfei, Vice Secretary of the CPC Committee, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission, attended the ceremony. Distinguished Professors Wang Binghua and Tu Guangshao spoke on behalf of the core faculty. Shang Yiguo of China National Building Materials Group Co.,Ltd. spoke on behalf of the trainees. Representatives of trainees in the academy and all faculty and staff of the academy attended the commencement ceremony, and 57 core faculty representatives attended on site and online respectively.
