On June 13, 2016, " Training program for Cubans to Have an In-depth Understanding of the Evolution and Transformation of Chinese Enterprises ", which was funded by the Ministry of Commerce and hosted by the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), was successfully launched at CBEAD. Zhang Jihui, deputy director, Bureau of Foreign Affairs, SASAC, Dong Dahai, executive vice president of CBEAD and Tan Yue, vice president of CBEAD attended the ceremony.
Dong Dahai delivered a welcome speech, expressed CBEAD’s willingness to share its research and resources to set up a platform of international exchanges and collaboration for officers and entrepreneurs from China and Cuba. Zhang Jihui said he hoped these discussions and communication could be beneficial for the Cuban delegation members in understanding the reform and development of China's SOEs, and believed this would be a valuable opportunity for both parties to learn from each other, deepen understanding and promote friendship. Tan Yue gave a brief introduction to CBEAD and its progress in all respects.
During its stay in Dalian, the Cuban delegation also visited Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. and CRRC Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. They had an in-depth talk with Dalian State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission and representative entrepreneurs.
